ROCKA & DB BROWN

Born and raised in Manhattan, New York, Veronica “Rocka” McNair-Brown and Darryl “DB” Brown have become a force in #BlackLove to b reckoned with. These two New York natives not only share a family owned & operated car business, but they also share thirty (30) plus years of togetherness.

As brokers in the car business, the two have afforded hundreds of satisfied customers with cars from luxury Bentleys and Mazaratis to Maximas and Lincolns. Their motto is “Bad credit, no credit, no problem” The two do their best to place customers in vehicles that suit their means and needs.

In addition to owning and operating the family car business, the two have also produced several event properties up and down the East Coast. From artists such as the Notorious B.I.G & Junior MAFIA to R&B crooner Joe to several other established acts, Rocka and DB have promoted some of NYC, SC, and NC’s most memorable parties.

With their foot heavy into the promotion game, the two transferred their skills over into their daughter, Monisha Brown, professionally known as Ms. Moe Money of the Hip-Hop R&B duo, BBOD (Bad Beauties On Deck) from VH1’s popular show, “Love & Hip-Hop”. Rocka and DB now handle the day to day affairs of their daughter and her partner, Sexxy Lexxy. From keeping their calendar to scheduling performances and fan appearances, the two are currently working to promote BBOD’s 2016 summer singles, “Hell of A Night” and “Str8 To It”.

When asked, What has kept the two of you together for so many years, Rocka states, “We have a great understanding of each other. We have a great friendship. We are extremely honest with each other and we are both team players”.

The two have four children (3 Daughters and 1 Son). Marquitta, their oldest is married with a family of her own. She just graduated with a BA in Medical Billing and works in a NYC Hospital. Monisha is single and touring the world as a part of BBOD. Samantha is a grauduate of ASA and she is currently a social worker at Mount Sinai Hospital. Sammy is a graduate of Lincoln University and he is a Teacher in Delaware.

In their spare time, the two love to travel wherever the water is blue and love up on their kids. “We are very big on family”, states DB. “We are extremely big on holidays. Thanksgiving and Christmas in our household, is important. Ther is nothing like a family gathering.

The two look to be a pillar to shine a light on true love in a culture where marriage and longer lasting relationships have become dim.
